Being a writer myself, I have noticed the zone has a few fellow writers, thus I have decided to give you guys a chance to show your talent. The topic is this. The great clock of time has stopped. How did this happen? Why? What is it doing to the world. Give it your best go. The piece can be any genre. There are a few rules. No explisit content in the piece. Any story that has explisit content will be disqualified. Minimal to no foul language. Yes, sometimes it is necessary to curse, but please no more than a few passing words. The story can be up to five thousand words. No I am not going to actually count, but I really do not have the time to read a novel. Those are my only rules and standards. No, grammer does not have to be perfect. Have fun, and I am looking forward to reading your entries soon. You can send them to me via private message or email, and the deadline is March sixteenth.

Only 5,000 words? That's only 12 pages! Lol.

I'll be participating, though. It's an interesting concept.

Are these stories going to be posted on the zone, too? It would be interesting to see what others come up with.

sounds like a cool idea, however I already have a research paper to write this semester that's probably going to end up being 100 pages or more, but to those of you who have the time and like to write and are creative, good luck and have fun. :)
